Joined: Jul 23, Messages: 10 Location: Missouri. Decided to change all filters and fluids along with some other maintenance work it required.

Getting filters at an economical price has proved challenging but had luck so far. When I pulled the hose and cover off the suction filter ahead of the hydraulic charge pump it was full of aluminum shavings. Where would the be coming from? The charge pump itself even though the filter was stopping them from entering the intake. Could it have the aluminum pistons in the clutch packs? I will check the hydraulic reservoir as well although the fluid in it appeared clear when I drained it.

CaseSep 15, After reviewing the fluid flow chart I have come to the conclusion that it is probably from the forward reverse clutch packs in the transmission. Will probably flush out the housing and clean up the old filter save the new one and run it a bit, then check it again.

Will also try to get some fluid from the bottom of the hydraulic reservoir and transmission to see if the shavings are there as well. Filter did a great job of stopping stuff before it got into the pump. CaseSep 16, Lol, do feel like I am talking to myself though. Please welcome. Started by Linestatelgn on Forestry and Logging. Author Topic: Case C low trans pressure Read times. I picked up a nice little C dozer this weekend. Its solid as a rock, with a brand new undercarriage. I figured it could possibly be the gauge. I want to fix it before it becomes a problem. I'll post some pics in the next day or two. I had a thread on here with a case.

May be something on there that will help. And id start with an actually numbered gauge in place of your factory one just to be sure it's working right. Good luck. It could be just a bad valve you never know. There is a filter on the system and something called a charge pump. Not real sure how you would check it. I would think someone on here would know. Our knowledgeable staff will be happy to help you with any of your tractor, backhoe, dozer, or engine parts needs.

I have a nice Case Total service 13 hrs ago. All fluids and filters. Today I experienced sudden tranmission pressure loss. I was pushing downhill. I was able to get the crawler back to level ground but noticed a sqeaking noise from under the seat.

I checked all fluids for contamination, pulled suction and pressure filters, everything looks perfect. It appears I can make up to normal transmission pressure but the dozer does not respond normally.

If I move foward or reverse the noise stops for a moment then slowly returns. Am I sucking air or has my torque converter failed. It sounds like you may have problems with the transmission releif valve, located on the transmission control valve. The pressure on the transmission should be between psi. The torque convertor relief valve is set at psi.

These transmissions also had a reputation of separating the layers in the suction hose so that the suction flow to the pump would be restricted. This is checked by testing the pressures of the trans and torque convertor or drain and inspect the hose.

Hey Max, please email me at bobb coastal-foods. A couple of months ago, he was using it, it was working fine when he shut it off. He started it a few days later, moved the shift levers to put it in gear to move the dozer, and nothing happens. It won't go into gear. Fluid level is fine, he changed the filters just in case, yet it still won't go into gear. He took the floor plate off and noticed that the drive line isn't spinning. Any ideas? Please use the navigational links on your left to explore our website.

Iput new seals in my charge pump and changed the oil in trans. Filled the suction hose with fluid and can not get the pump to pick up oil fron trans. Not had dozer long just changed all the fluids and fliters before putting it to work.

It would not move for a little while when you first started it when I got it thats why I put seals in pump. Is there some trick to primming the pump that I have not done I filled the line 5 or 6 times. Do you have to put it in gear to get pressure I tried in gear and not but was afraid to let it run to long about ten min. Please help thomas. I have put seals in the pump and that did not work the only thing i could see that might cause a problem was on the shaft where the front seal runs the shaft has a grove where the seal has been running thought the new seal would take care of that but guess not.

I can not find gears for the pump does any one know where to buy the internal parts they show the numbers but can not find them. T moore. Thanks for all the help.

I think I will try putting air in the trans. It is setting pointed up hill a little bit and I did drain the trans. I am going to try it again maybe I did not let it run longer and see if it will work.

The pump got a little warm to touch but not hot so I shut it down. Welcome Guest, Log in or Register. Re: case B charge pump in reply to thomas reed, Re: case B charge pump in reply to tmoore45acp, Thomas did you replace o rings behind front bearings?IT COULD BE YOU has good early speed and has three placings from five runs this prep, looks threatening.

YALTA won't be far away in the run and Courtney Pace has had success aboard previously, sneaky chance. SLALOM comes back to race at a country level, cannot be ruled out.

Betty's Thrills (1) 6. Tortured Poet (3) 3. Kidfontein (8) BETTY'S THRILLS drawn ideally, major contender. TORTURED POET has three placings from six runs this prep and down in distance, looks threatening. Hard But Fair (6) 2.

Dal Kilchoan (7) 8. HARD BUT FAIR and DAL KILCHOAN look to be the only possible dangers and WALK WITH KINGS might get 4th by default. Majic Hazel (2) 1. Lincoln's Gal (12) 3. Swiss Precision (4) 9.

Cookie Time (9) The top 3 on the race list look to be the only chances among those that have experience. Leaning towards MAJIC HAZEL, who was impressive on debut, ahead of LINCOLN'S GAL and SWISS PRECISION.

COOKIE TIME only needs to have any ability to be a factor here. Wandering Eye (6) 1. High Distinction (3) 4. Pakapunch (7) Small field with only 4 realistic chances.

WANDERING EYE has gone well in all 3 starts and should have appreciated the freshen up for this. PAKAPUNCH looks to be the only other chance. Hunter Villain (2) 8. Miss Oahu (10) Scratched 9. Petite Midas (3) 6.AdNews will release a special report on sports betting advertising next week.

Over the years we've seen more ads that are trying to embed gambling in peer group behaviours. Now it's about betting with your mates while you are watching the game," says Deakin University associate professor of public health Samantha Thomas, an expert on gambling advertising. The proceedings were brought about by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

To cash in, customers had to gamble their deposit and bonus three times before being able to withdraw any winnings. In running an investigation on the sports betting sector, AdNews discovered that such enticements are commonplace with certain agencies, particularly online.

Unibet, for example, offers a bonus bet of four times the deposit amount but you can only claim winnings if you gamble four times the bonus money. Further, such promotions of credit (known as a 'bonus' by gambling companies because they legally cannot provide credit) are illegal in most states, including NSW, and Victoria.

The wagering restrictions are contained in the terms and conditions. AdNews journalist Arvind Hickman quizzed unibet about the practice to get an explanation and was advised to call the agency's customer services hotline. Have something to say on this. Earlier this year, Crownbet, Unibet and Bet 365 were fined for illegal sports betting ads in NSW.
